Rare Telephone with Ivory Speaker
The rectangular shaped base to the phone is a
rare grain painted metal in an orange/brown color. The handle on the side
turns ( to look like you are cranking the phone). The speaker and receiver to
the phone lies in a cradle position with two holders to support it. This piece
is metal and painted black and the speaker part is ivory. A cord attaches from
the box to the receiver. It is marked "Germany". I believe this is an intercom
phone to call servants.
