Rare Ormolu Tete-a Tete - by Erhard & Sohne
For years I searched for this piece and even went to another country to purchase it! I have found it again and am offering it for sale.
A "tete-a-tete" means a private, close conversation, hence the name of this double chair. As you can see from the photos, it is two half round chairs joined together, with one facing in the opposite direction. The frame work is of the rope/like decoration in ormolu and the seats are padded with a deep rose colored fabric. (Fabric has been matched to the original).
Measurements: Chairs stand 3-1/4"h. The two chairs together are 4-3/4"long
Circa: 19th Century
Price: SOLD
