A Rare Simon-Halbig Dollhouse Lady
We often think of the S-H dolls as having the ringlets hanging on each side of the face. But this one is a swivel neck lady with exceptional facial painting. Her eyes have the red line over the eyelid and the outlining of the eye. Notice the red line in the center of the mouth and she has the black band in the hair too. Her original dress is long to the floor, is gathered around the shoulders and has long sleeves. There are tiny ribbons on her shoulders that complement the color of the soft beige dress with tiny flowers. She has her original undergarments and wears flat black shoes. I have never seen another doll like her!
