Boulle Sideboard with Center Display Cabinet
This Boulle sideboard has a marble table top
with a large display cabinet mounted on top. There are two shelves with an old
mirror in the back to reflect all the sterling, glass or porcelain pieces
placed on the shelves. The back of the sideboard has scalloped decoration with
gold transfer work and a small curved shelf attached on the side of
the mirrored cabinet. A matching pediment rests on top of the mirrored
cabinet. The base has an open center with flanking cabinets on each side. A
lovely addition to the dining room.
