A Magnificent Carriage
The carriage is beautifully painted in soft
shades of cream and gold on the lattice work or decoration on the sides.
It has four large spoke wheels made of a pot metal while the rest of the
carriage is made of soft metal. A handle is found at the back of the
carriage which is held in place by scrolls that extend downward into a
long bar. The interior of the carriage has its original blue cotton
lining which makes the carriage so attractive. A small bisque doll with
moveable arms is wrapped in old cloth and ribbons and came with the
carriage. A parasol trimmed in lace is suspended from the back of the
carriage to shade the baby!
