An Incredible Boulle Table
We very rarely see a table like this with the
fine decorated top in gold transfer work with a center medallion of a scene
done in the silver transfer work. The entire table top is covered with
extraordinary scroll work and borders. The rectangular scalloped table has
beautiful cabriole legs in metal with leaves and flowers trailing down the
sides. The legs are done in a dark asphaltum wash which matches the sides of
the table. This table is usually placed in front of a Boulle sofa in a parlor.
Measurements: 2-1/2"h. x 4-5/8" long
x 3"across.
