A Large Scale Sewing Stand
I used a flash on some of these photos as it was hard to see all the gold transfer work on this piece. The stand could be used to hold a lamp or vase and at the same time serve as a sewing stand.
The gold transfer work is found on top of the stand, along the sides, and on the shelf at the base. The curved legs also add to the beauty of this piece. The drawer is not very obvious and it would almost be by accident one would pull the drawer from underneath. But when you do, you will see all the divided com parts for sewing tools. A great addition to your parlor!
