A Paragon Heater

This piece was found in a dolls’ house with contents in the 19th Century. When I first saw this piece, I thought it was a “Safe”, but I saw the word “Paragon”. This word, “Paragon” is embossed on the front door. When you look it up, it means “a model of excellence”. It is a hot-air heater and the top looks like a radiator. The detail is incredible with hinges molded into the brass door that opens. It is in excellent condition and is a very unique piece.
