A Tynietoy Mahogany Lowboy

This lowboy has the long narrow drawer at the top and then below has three square drawers. The center drawer has the drawing of a “seashell”. Some of the lowboys just have this painted on the center, but it is considered a little more special with that extra drawer. In studying the construction of this piece, you will see that the cabriole legs are not separate. The front and the back are all cut from one piece of wood. Another special feature is the beautiful scalloped apron that appears on the front below all the drawers.
