A Tynietoy Firescreen

The four styles of firescreens made by Tynietoy were in shapes of- a shield, a circle, an oval and a square. The one being offered here is square. Each shape has two nails attached to the back of the screen with a piece of metal between them A pole passes through this loop of metal and allows the screen to slide up and down so the screen can be adjusted to any height. The base of the firescreens is always made the same with three sprawling legs. The screen has an old red color for a background and flowers are painted in lavender, a blue-purple, and a slight gold/orange. A very attractive piece for the parlor!
