A Grain-Painted Linen Cupboard
I knew when I saw this piece, it might be too big for my large Regency Dolls’ House. But I did manage to squeeze it in the front hall and place it on the back wall under the staircase. I thought it would be a good place to take out linens for the dining room and get extra towels for the kitchen. What I loved was the grain painting on the front and sides. I loved the interior papers and the wonderful old paper inside the drawer below the door. The front corner pieces are carved at the top and bottom. This piece would be wonderful for a doll collector too.
