A Crystal Set - An Accessory Found in Homes

During the 1920s, before radios, a crystal set was often seen in homes. It would be able to detect radio signals without a power supply. A replica was designed in miniature using a metal box with dials and buttons to turn frequencies. Earphones were attached with cords to the crystal set in order to hear some of the soft sounds and to get a signal in one direction.
