Coal Hod or Scuttle
A wonderful piece to have near the fireplace. This one is particularly nice as it made of soft metal and has an asphaltum wash (brown stain) with gold gilt hinges and handle on top. It also has a gold thin line decoration on all sides. It opens from the front for storage of coal. It rests on 4 tiny metal feet. A great piece!
