A Rare Tynietoy Bonnet Top Highboy

 

This highboy was stained in a darker stain than the Bird’s Eye maple color. The condition is perfect! The top has the curved form of wood with the rosettes carved on the front. This piece was made like the real highboys where the top part fits inside the bottom piece. The top has drawers that open whereas the bottom piece has gray and black lines painted to resemble paneling. All of the drawers have brass knobs! The cabriole legs are beautiful and curve outwards at the bottom. (Note: See the teardrop finial at the base that hangs downward!)
