A Canopy German Tin Bed – Made by Bing

 

The bed is painted a cream color and the headboard and the footboard have scalloped pieces on top that are trimmed in gold paint. The sides have wonderful pierced openings . The bedding has an old straw mattress, a newer pillow and coverlet.  The canopy drapery  does hang from its original holder. (Note: I would add more fabric behind the lace to give it a nicer appearance). The only missing paint is at the footboard which is shown. Some repaint on the tin is under the canopy drapery on the back. Otherwise, a very special bed!
