Tynietoy Mt. Vernon Settee

We can identify this piece by looking at the back of the settee in the way the cut out form is made. We have seen chairs made this way but the piece shown here is not as familiar to collectors. The piece is stained in mahogany and the seat is painted a creamy yellow with vines of leaves in a dark tan color.
