An Outstanding Boulle Cupboard

This Boulle piece of furniture is not only attractive, but has so many special features.

There are 6 metal knobs ! When you tilt the cabinet slightly back so that the light exposes the fine stenciling on the front, you can really appreciate the beauty in this piece. The two doors that open on top have cut out forms that look like tear drops !! When you open the two doors, you will see aqua paper work inside which is in fine condition. (This would make a great place to display fine china dishes). Below this area one can see two very narrow drawers with white painted strips above it and below it. This is all set back of the cupboard. I would say this lower part is as a storage area. Excellent condition.
