Boulle Desk

This desk is thoroughly covered with gold transfer work. There are cubby holes in the center between a cabinet with a door on each side. Above the cubby holes is a crown on top and flanking ones on each cabinet door. The desk top or writing area has beautiful gold transfer work too. The legs are straight boards that are scalloped and the drawers below the writing area are done in gold transfer work and do not open. Abeautiful piece of furniture!
