An Early Tin Cradle
The tin cradle has a grain painted surface on the outside while the interior is
painted an aqua blue. The hood on the cradle has the sides made so that it is
all one piece cut from tin. Just the top of the hood is attached and there are
not any nails. The tow rockers provide a movement that allows the baby to rock
back and forth. I believe it is repainted but it still remains a very rare piece
for an early dolls' house.
