A Most Unusual Cabinet

This piece is too tall to be a night stand. It is heavily carved on the front with scalloping on the corners. The long door opens to reveal a shelf inside. The drawer opens too. The scalloped top is mounted on the marble top on the very back which would go up against a wall. (Note: A shelf is attached to the back piece). The wood has a light mahogany stain. This is a piece I have never seen before.
