This timbered style dolls' house is a home
made American house constructed around 1890 with fine detail work on the
exterior and interior. The house opens in 4 sections from the front with 8
rooms of furnishings, accessories and dolls. The house is being sold
unfurnished and the furnishings will be sold later. The house was over
painted more than 35 years ago.
There are two built in fireplaces; one in
the parlor and one in the dining room.
The floors are parquet, the woodwork is
beautifully made and the wallpapers are all old.
The first floor has a parlor with bay
windows, a front hall with staircase (needs repair on the railing), a dining
room and then a kitchen. On the second floor is a bedroom with bay windows,
a hall, then two bedrooms. The height of the ceilings- first floor is
13" high. The second floor ceilings are 12" high.
