A Fine Draped Cradle on a Stand
This lovely cradle is made of soft metal and is painted in gold and cream with some of the silvering exposed. The oval cradle is suspended from hooks that are attached to the ends of the decorative supports. The stand has open work on the sides with an attached bar at the base to stabilize it. A bar extends upward and over the cradle to form a drapery. Lovely lace extends from the top to the floor and matches the lace inside the cradle. Additional bedding and a pink liner completely covers the inside of the cradle. An exceptional piece for a nursery!
