A Porcelain and Ormolu Compote
There are always some things that just catch your eye and you never want to part with them. This is how I felt about this compote! But I can’t keep everything, so I have decided to let it go. This would go in a large scale dolls’ house with the porcelain plate in the center with a soft rose border and intricately painted flowers in the center. The ruffled edge around the plate and the ruffled handle are most attractive in placing this fine piece on a table! The ormolu base is wired on the sides to hold the plate securely in place.
