A Tynietoy Chair/Table
This early style piece was very popular during the 18th century as it served two purposes. The chair/table has a hinged top that can pivot up to become the back of a seat or down to serve as a table. The color is wonderful as it is stained in that red mahogany. The photos show all the positions that make it so desirable. This was a popular piece in the kitchen by the fireplace as it could be utilize for both a place to sit and a table to serve meals.
Measurements: As a seat, it measures 4-3/4” to the top. As a table it is 2-3/4”h. x 4” x 4” square.
