A Boulle Display Cabinet

This would be a splendid cabinet in a dining room where one could display fine porcelain. The large glass door exposes the interior in blue paper. The pediment on top is wonderful with a high point in the middle and scroll work gently sloping down the sides. The frame to the glass door has several lined borders to set off the design work.  The base has a faux drawer with gold transfer work. A scalloped apron at the bottom becomes a part of the cut out legs. This is an impressive piece of furniture that could highlight a room greatly.
