Green Glass Serving Dish

The circular green glass is held in a frame that encircles the bottom of the dish. On two sides are two ormolu flowers that clamp the dish to the frame. A half circle handle is mounted on the other sides of the dish to keep it in place.  At one time here were stones in the flowers, One red stone remains in one of the flowers on the dish. I have never seen this piece before and it was quite expensive to purchase.

Measurements: The serving piece is 2-1/8” in diameter. The handle is 1-5/8”h.

Circa: Late 19th Century

Price: $40
