Tynietoy Treasures [6]

A Spanish Parlor- Here we see the Spanish sofa with the velvet cushion, the two Spanish foot stools and the pair of high back Spanish Library chairs.  

We can now see an ebony painted Tynietoy Japanned secretary in one photo and view the interior in red with gold painted motifs.

Very few pieces of this furniture done by Tynietoy have been found. I saw some pieces at the Strong Museum in Rochester, NY and at an auction many years ago in Timonium, MD.
