A Rare Tynietoy Bonnet-Top Highboy

You may have seen the more common flat top highboy, but to see a bonnet-top is very rare. Highboys were made so that the top part lifts out from the base. The upper part has drawers that open and the top is beautifully carved and has a sloping sides. The base has painted lines that resemble drawers and there are metal knobs on the painted drawers!! The stamped in logo of Tynietoy can be seen under the bottom of the top section. The highboy is varnished into a maple color.
