A Rare Tynietoy Secretary

This is one of my favorite pieces of Tynietoy! The rich patina of the mahogany wood certainly adds to the overall quality of this secretary. The top part of this piece is a bookcase which has raise paneled doors! That is the drawing point of this grand piece of furniture. Its just so elegant and beautiful! Below the bookcase is a regular Governor Winthrop desk. It has the drop front which reveals cubby holes for inserting papers and a center door to hide a special piece inside. There are two supporting extensions that pull out to support the writing surface. There are three large drawers and a smaller one on top to use for storage.
